Important Note: You must be using Monarch Manager for these updaters to work. Downloading and applying an Updater using Mac Beauty Advisor will disable your program.


If you have not yet updated to the 6 digit product numbers and you are a current Beauty Advisor 8 user, you can ask for a free upgrade to Monarch Manager 8.7 by e-mailing: If you need to upgrade from BA 7 or below then, please click here. (you'll need to purchase an upgrade)


Once you have updated to Monarch Manager ver. 8 or above with the 6 Digit Product Item format you can then download the appropriate Product Table update below. If you have problems with the downloads not unstuffing correctly (a message such as: bad format or such), please e-mail and let us know.

MM 10.v4 Product Updater Winter 2011 - for Lion (10.7) Users (OSX 10.5.8 and above) - New

To install, make sure to do a backup from Utilities in Monarch Manager before doing any updates and then Quit Monarch Manager. Click the link to the right to download the Product Updater. Then drag the extracted file "Product" from your downloads folder into your BAFiles folder of your Monarch Manager folder. Open Monarch Manager, go to Products and click on the update button.

When the download to your computer is finished, perform the steps outlined below. We recommend that you print this page as a reference before you perform the update process. (Read the Updater How to for more help)

  1. Drag the downloaded file and drop it onto StuffIt Expander (only if needed, it should expand automatically).
  2. From the Monarch Manager Utilities, click on Backup to create a current data backup.
  3. Quit out of Monarch Manager.
  4. Double-click on the Updater icon to start the update process.
  5. Click on Continue when you see the picture of the Monarch on your computer.
  6. Click on Continue after reading the message dialog.
  7. Click on Install.
  8. Select (Highlight) the Monarch Manager folder (Beauty Advisor folder) and then click Choose (Only works with 6 digit Product Numbers with Version 8 or higher).
  9. Click on OK when you receive the message that the installation is complete. The actual data update process will begin - do not interrupt this process, OSX users must start Monarch Manager (Beauty Advisor) after installing to start the update process. It's best for OSX users to double click the 'Monarch Manager Solution' to start the program.
